These Terms of Use govern your use of redwoodofm.com and the services offered by Redwood Osteopathic Family Medicine ("Redwood," "we," "us," or "our"). By using this website or our services, you agree to these terms.

Not medical advice; emergencies

Information on this website is for general educational purposes and is not medical advice. Reading this site or contacting us through it does not create a physician–patient relationship. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Do not use website forms, email, or text messages for urgent or emergency needs.

Direct primary care membership

Direct primary care is a membership-based service and is not health insurance. Membership terms, fees, and what is included are set out in a separate membership agreement that you sign before care begins; if that agreement conflicts with these terms, the membership agreement controls.

Telemedicine

Virtual visits are available only to patients physically located in a state where our clinician is licensed at the time of the visit (currently Oregon and Washington). Telemedicine has limits, and we may ask you to be seen in person when appropriate.

Use of this website

You agree not to misuse this website, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it by means other than the interface we provide. Content on this site, including text, images, and logos, belongs to Redwood or its licensors and may not be copied without permission.

Third-party services

We use third-party services to operate our practice, such as our patient portal, scheduling, payment, and messaging providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

This website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Redwood is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of this website.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the date above shows the latest revision. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.

SMS / Text Messaging Terms

Program. Redwood Osteopathic Family Medicine sends text messages to patients and prospective patients who opt in. Messages may include appointment reminders and confirmations, scheduling updates, replies from our care team, forms and portal notifications, and account or billing notices.

Consent. You opt in by providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive text messages from us — for example on our patient intake or signup forms, in our patient portal, or by asking us in person or by phone. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care or purchasing any service.

Message frequency varies based on your care and account activity.

Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.

Opt out. Reply STOP to any message at any time to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt in again. You can reply START to resubscribe.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Not for emergencies. Text messages are not monitored around the clock. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.
