Accepting New Patients — December 2026
Membership pricing
At Redwood Osteopathic Family Medicine, one monthly membership covers your everyday primary care. No copays for visits, no surprise bills.
How direct primary care works
Direct primary care is a membership model. Instead of billing insurance for each visit, you pay one predictable monthly fee that covers your primary care, so visits can be longer, easier to schedule, and focused on you rather than on billing codes.
It is not health insurance. We recommend keeping health insurance for the big things, like emergencies, hospital stays, specialists, and surgery.
What your membership includes
Here is what you are joining, before we talk about cost. What is direct primary care?
Direct access to your doctor
A real relationship with one doctor who knows you as a whole person, not just a chart number.
Unhurried, timely visits
Visits with room to talk, so nothing is rushed or left unsaid.
Whole-person, osteopathic care
A thorough look beyond the symptom to how the rest of your body and your life circumstances may be contributing.
Lifestyle medicine, built into your care
Evidence-based support for nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, and connection, with a plan built around your goals and medication when it is indicated.
No insurance hoops
No insurance billing for membership services, and a flat monthly fee you can see up front.
Telemedicine
Video visits through our secure patient portal, included in your membership at no extra cost.
Care in English and Spanish
Appointments in Spanish with a doctor who speaks it.
Discounted osteopathic manipulative treatment
Members pay $300 for an OMT intake visit and $200 for a return visit, compared with $500 and $300 for non-members.
Medications and blood tests in the office
Many common medications dispensed at wholesale pricing, and many common blood tests drawn right in the office. Both are coming soon.
And more
A response within one business day and a visit within one week, usually sooner; many minor procedures done in the office; and help coordinating specialists, labs, and affordable cash-price imaging.
Simple, transparent pricing
Every membership includes everything above. You pay a monthly fee, plus a one-time enrollment fee when you join.

Using an HSA? For 2026, federal rules limit HSA-eligible direct primary care memberships to $150 a month for one person and $300 a month for more than one person. Memberships above these amounts may affect your HSA eligibility. Redwood can’t provide tax advice, so please make the best decision for you with guidance from your HSA administrator or tax professional.
Small business memberships
I welcome partnerships with small businesses that are looking for an affordable, high-quality health care option for their employees. Direct primary care gives employees easier access to a doctor, which can mean fewer missed workdays, faster care for everyday health issues, and keeping people healthy through quicker appointment access. Email me to discuss group pricing for your business.
Have Medicare or Medicaid? I’m still clarifying this ever-changing legal landscape, and more information will be available soon. Thank you for your patience. Read more in the FAQ.

Leaving and rejoining
There’s no minimum commitment. To cancel, please provide at least 30 days’ notice.
If you cancel and later decide to rejoin, a re-enrollment fee equal to six months of membership may apply, and because my patient panel is intentionally small, re-enrollment depends on availability and is at my discretion.
Pricing, fees, and discounts may change. I’ll always give at least 30 days’ notice before any price change.
What if I can't afford membership?
Choosing direct primary care gives me the freedom to care for people based on what they need, not what's most profitable. If cost is a barrier for you, please reach out. We'll always try to find a way to work with you, while keeping the practice running so we can continue serving our community. Also, keep an eye out for more information about the upcoming Heartwood Fund, created with the goal of helping lower barriers to care for community members in need.
